Day 58 - April 22nd, 2012

Sunday Funday! I cut open some glow sticks and poured the liquid into jars and added some glitter. Then put the lids on and let the boys shake them up. Would be fun to do while camping.

Bad Habit: at 3 am i heard lots of loud banging outside, enough that it woke up both me and Emerson. It was just my neighbor breaking down his door to let the guests in that he brought home....just half the bar...no biggie really. I take comfort in knowing he'll regret it when he drags his butt out of bed today. So this bad habit or partying is my neighbors, not mine. Although, I do have my fair share.

You're all going to see a lot of kid pics for a while. I'm so busy working on orders again but at the least I try to snap lots of the pics of the kids, even if it's nothing terribly interesting. Emerson is just too darn cute not to photograph :)

Day 51 - April 15th, 2012

This is an old pic but one of my favorites. The last vacation we took was 4 years ago, we made the 4 hour drive up to wellman lake, duck mountain provincial park with Korbin who was only 10 months old at the time. I was so sick the whole trip with a nasty summer cold. I couldn't lay in bed any longer after coughing all night so I got up to watch the sunrise, it was beautiful and peaceful. We hope to go somewhere this summer, maybe we'll make it up there again. Anyways, this to me is dreamy.

Day 48 - April12th, 2012

Jackson always asks to hold his baby brother Emerson. It takes all of about 30 seconds before he says "oh!mom! Emmy squishing me!". Jackson at age 2 1/2 weighs all of 28 lbs...Emerson at 4 1/2 months already weighs 18.5....I would feel squished too.

Day 47 - April 11th, 2012

This is the first toy box I have been able to paint the way I want to. I made it for a consignment store that sells my stuff. I have always had customers tell me what to paint, but this time I got to choose. What do you think?

Day 46 - April 10th, 2012

We bought a doggie bed for our pooch, he has been rather uncomfortable laying on the floor since we put in the laminate. It seems as though Sam the cat thinks the bed is for him. He is forever in it and Oscar just curls up beside him.

Day 45 - April 9th, 2012

Want to know what the coolest sensory toy is? it's water beads! my cousin gave them to me the other day. They start out as these tiny little beads and you let them sit in water for 4-6 hrs and they soak up all the water. They are non toxic and don't leave any sort of film or odor on your hands. They bounce a bit off of each other too. They are just fun and relaxing to play with. I can't resist sticking my hand in the bucket if I walk by them.
