Day 151 - July 24th, 2012

Emerson playing on the floor at my mom and step dad's. He seemed mad at me when we got back on sunday, he wouldn't look at me for a while but he warmed up again after about 20 minutes.

The view from the dock, this is the main cabin and boat house. The cabin we were in is the one to the left. There was another one that belonged to the family off to the right.

Day 148 - July 21st, 2012

This was taken up in Manipogo, MB. We got invited to go up to my husband's coworkers family cabins and I tell ya, what a weekend! On the way up we dropped the kids off with my mom and step dad for the weekend and then we kicked back and relaxed for 2 wonderful days. We fished, swam, boated, ate, drank, and visited with some of the most hospitable people I have ever met. We missed the kids but it was hard to say goodbye to this place. We made lots of new friends and were invited back again, can't wait for our next trip up there.

Day 146 - July 19th, 2012

We had a water main break on our street when I woke up yesterday morning, what a racket the backhoe made when breaking through the pavement. The kids had fun watching it all happen.

made these for the kids for lunch and I rather enjoyed them too. It's just cornbread batter and cut up chunks of hot dogs put into a mini muffin pan but it was still nice to have something different that a plain old hot dog.

I taught him how to get down off of the couch feet first and now I can't keep him on the couch, little stinker is far too adventurous

The trainer spun the dog around while he was biting down on the frisbee, Jackson was in awe.

Caught the dog show at the X on saturday, this dogs name was roho. They were all really talented dogs, the kids enjoyed watching them as much as I did.

More from the X...enjoying lunch from the oakville community club booth. I love the look on Korbin's face, so intense! Must have been one darn good ham and cheese sandwich.

My little Emerson is getting quite brave lately, he climbs down off the couch and stands quite proudly against the couch...until he tumbles over...which he did the second after I took this pic. He was fine though...no babies were harmed in the taking of this photo

Had you told me 3 years ago that I would find my passion in woodworking I probably would have laughed at you...but indeed I do love it. I'm slowly working on this set for a customer when I get an hour here and there.

Day 128 - July 1st, 2012

I did NOT get any good fireworks pics. Maybe if I had a tripod I could have but I was standing quite a ways away, zoomed in really far, and holding a wiggly baby that was trying to grab the camera. This one isn't clear at all, I just liked the squiggles.

this was taken in the butterfly garden at the zoo. I love how the wings look like pantyhose fabric up close, such neat colors and patterns.

Day 123 - June 26th, 2012

fed this little guy, and about 5 of his friends, some raisins while we were at the zoo. They have taken over the zoo grounds but they are cute and friendly so we didn't mind the company.

Day 122 - June 25th, 2012

Jackson dipping his toes in the water. The older 2 had a swim with us when we got back from clear lake, the first time for Jackson and the second time for Korbin (he tried it once last year). They both came in willingly, last year they were both scared of the pool so this is new for them. And don't worry, when the pool is not in use the ladder is out so they kids can't fall in accidentally.
